African American Culture & Arts Festival — October 3 at Suwanee Town Center Park. A free family festival with live music, dance, poetry, food vendors, and a Kids' Zone.
Taste of BBQ Festival — October 3 at The Plaza in Sugar Hill. Heads up: this one used to be in Suwanee, but it's moved to Sugar Hill this year.
Spooky Spirits 5K — October 17 at Suwanee Town Center Park. A cocktails-and-costumes twist on the classic 5K, and it's a Peachtree Road Race qualifier.

Suwanee Wine Fest — November 7 at Suwanee Town Center Park. It's next month, but grab your tickets now. This one sells out.
Sugar Rush is the biggest weekend of the year in Downtown Sugar Hill, so if you're searching "Sugar Rush Arts Festival 2026 dates," mark your calendar for October 17–18.

Best Suwanee Restaurants: Local Go-Tos
If you're new to the area and searching for the best restaurants in Suwanee, GA, these are the ones locals keep coming back to:
Seaside Oyster Bar — a Gulf Coast-inspired seafood spot from the team behind Tequila Mama, with rotating fresh oysters, craft cocktails, and a deep bourbon list.
Hacienda Bar & Grill — the go-to for Mexican in Suwanee. Order the tableside guac, street tacos, or sizzling fajitas with a margarita.

Corn Mazes, Pumpkin Patches & Sunflowers Near Suwanee
Nothing says fall in Georgia like an afternoon on a local farm. These are the ones our family comes back to every year:
Jaemor Farms — a huge pick-your-own pumpkin patch, hayrides, a corn maze, and homemade ice cream that's worth the drive on its own.
Buford Corn Maze — a corn maze, a smaller pumpkin patch, yard games by day, and a haunted forest for the brave once the sun goes down.
Warbington Farms — pumpkins, a sunflower field, and a bounce house for the littles.
Fausett Farms Sunflowers — a gorgeous sunflower farm with the option to add on horseback riding.
